BBQ Cookoff

Central Texas State Championship BBQ Cook-Off

(Troy Cook-Off)

The next cook off is planned for Friday March 29 and Saturday March 30, 2024.

The community based group called “Project Troy” would like to invite you and your BBQ team to join us for the Troy Annual BBQ Cook-Off.  The CTBA sponsored cook-off will be held on the last weekend in March in Trojan Park and along the railroad tracks on Cypress Ave. This Cook-off is part of the Quad-City cook-offs.

Cypress Avenue will be blocked off by the Troy Police Department on Friday at 6:00 p.m. If you are arriving later than that, please contact one of our staff listed on the cookoff entry form. The park gate will be closed to all vehicles!

Entry fees will be: TBD for all meat categories: chicken, pork ribs beef brisket and pinto beans. Please make checks payable to Project Troy.

Music will be provided on Friday night and during the day on Saturday.

Water will be available but no hook-ups. There will be no electricity available, so bring your generator.

Trophies will be awarded to the first 3 places in brisket, chicken and ribs, cash to the top 5 places and plaques will be awarded for 4th through 10th places in meat categories. Over $5,000.00 will be the total cash payout (based on 50 teams).
